The week started with our first Open Morning of the year. It was great to meet new prospective parents and students at All Saints. Feedback from those that attended was very positive and complimentary about our student tour guides, who made them feel welcome.
On Tuesday I was filled with pride when I found out that Preston Blight and Henley Webb bravely prevented the accident of a small child in the local community. Preston and Henley made the local news for their bravery. You can read more about this here on Plymouth Live: https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/news/plymouth-news/hero-kids-aged-10-11-3330398 Well done indeed.
We also received letters this week from the English Speaking Board, for our students who took part in an event linked to this last year. The ESB’s Chief Executive Tina Renshaw, wrote to all the learners of All Saints Academy who achieved the distinction score and they have now received their highly commended certificates. Well done to all those involved with this.
Yesterday evening we hosted a ‘meet the tutor afternoon’ for new year 7 parents and students. This was a good opportunity for tutors to talk through how the new students were settling in over a cup of tea. Thank you to all those that attended.
Until next week.
