Rewards, Activities Days, Football and House Leadership

With only one week left until half term, we have been busy here at All Saints with events and activities.  Last week we launched a new part of the rewards system that sees students being rewarded for everyday lesson contributions in a Bronze, Silver and Gold concept. At the end of the week, the top students from each year in each House are awarded with a ‘Platinum’ award. They can use this award to either receive a piece of school equipment or queue jump pass for the following week right there and then. Or they can choose to opt for a Platinum ticket which they can save up to gain a bigger award such as sporting equipment, use of the hall, teaching room or sole use of the Astro turf. Congratulations to the students pictured who were the first to receive this award last week!

As you are aware, we launched the Activities Days in the summer term and the online booking for this.  We have already sold out for multiple trips so do make sure you and your child have booked a place on an activity.   We have also had a number of sporting activities this week with great success already.  There have been multiple football tournaments, including Year 10 Boys and Year 8 Boys and Girls.  Teams have played exceptionally well and thank you to Mr Pike and Mr Gibbons for organising these.

We have also had the Head Boys and Girls for Weston and Scott House now, with only Astor to go.  This now forms our House leadership teams, who will be leading on various events in the Houses.

Finally, I have been really pleased with the amount of applications I have received for students wanting to transfer to All Saints.  Feedback from parents of these children has been increasingly positive and it is great to hear that they want to join our community.

Until next week.
