Year 6-7 Transition

A welcome from the Headteacher

Thank you for taking the time to read about All Saints Academy as you consider the next steps for your son or daughter for their secondary education.  This is an exciting time for you and your family and I hope that our website will begin to give you a flavour of the community here at All Saints.

At our academy, we value each and every young person as an individual and work hard to ensure our mission for students becomes a reality; this is to ensure that all students succeed beyond potential. Our four golden threads of faith, family, foundations and futures ensures that all of our students are developed during their time here at the academy, academically, socially, morally and spiritually.

When our new students join us in year 7 we take the time to really make sure they settle in and feel part of our community.  Our staff take the time to get to know all of our new students and ensure that they flourish during their time here.

I look forward to meeting you at our open events over the coming months.

Open Evening

All Saints is hosting its annual open evening on Wednesday 26th September, from 6pm-8pm.  There will be an introduction to the academy by the Headteacher, Lee Sargeant at 6pm in the main hall and then an opportunity to explore the academy with our tour guides.  There will be a second talk for parents who missed the first talk at 7pm in the main hall.

Transition day

The transition day for new year 6 students joining the academy in September 2019 will be held on Thursday 4th July 2019.  This will be a change for year 6 students to be inducted into life at the academy, a chance to meet their tutor and have a taste of the types of lessons and facilities we have to offer.  More details will be emailed to parents and year 6 students nearer the date.
