Again we’ve had another very busy week here at All Saints. At the end of last week we welcomed Johnny Mercer into the school. He had heard about the improvements here and wanted to come and see for himself. He was pleased with what he saw and thanked staff and pupils for their hard work over the past few years. On Monday next week we welcome Charlotte Holloway, who is the Labour party candidate for our ward, who is also interested in seeing what we’ve done here at All Saints.
On Tuesday this week, pupils started building their Big Boat Build for the 2020 Mayflower celebration and Kids Afloat Regatta. Visiting Ambassadors from Princess Yachts came to give expert tuition and a big skills boost. The basic wooden boat will be taken away and then a mold made for the final fibre glass version. Finally they will be able to decorate and finish off ready for the Regatta next year.
Just a reminder that on 28th November, it is our PSHE day and the 29th November is a staff training day as per the school calendar, so school will be closed to pupils.
