At All Saints we typically have at least 2 or 3 trips and/or visits occurring per week. This has become the norm and is now common practise.

Every time a student participates in an enrichment activity, it is logged on UNIFROG which helps students with post-16 options and applications and helps form the basis of their CVs. 

In addition to the 2 or 3 trips or visits a week, we also run ASAP Values Days in March/April and Activity Days in July, which gives every child the chance to participate in enrichment activities.

A snapshot of some of the trips and visits that occurred last academic year:

• The whole of year 7 visited Plymouth Aquarium for a day of learning about the ocean and pollution. They learnt about creating innovative ways to use/stop plastics that pollute the oceans.

  

• A trip to the River Dart Country Park for our students that achieved Gold on the Effort Leaderboards.
• A Composite Integration Engineering trip where students learnt about local employers and cutting-edge engineering and materials.
• GCSE food students visited Queen's College Theatre in Taunton to watch "The Chemistry of Cooking"

  

• Greenpower students participated in the GreenPower International Final at Goodwood Motor Circuit. Only the top 20% of teams reach the finals!

• GCSE art students visited West Point Arena in Exeter for the "Beyond Van Gogh UK" experience. This was an immersive, multisensory experience, making art more accessible by removing the intimidation of traditional museums and providing educational benefits such as learning about Van Gogh's life and art techniques, improving visual literacy, and sparking creative inspiration and discussion.

• Health and Social Care students visited Plymouth University to explore the huge range of careers open to them in this sector. Students had the opportunity to explore hands-on activities such as learning basic life support, birthing a baby, measuring strength and range of movement, investigating a home as a social worker, viewing cancer under the microscope and demonstrations of virtual medical coaching.
• Year 8 went to the Theatre Royal to watch "Woman in Black."
• GCSE Geography students visited Dawlish Warren to experience geographical coastal landforms in person.
• Students visited Plymouth Magistrates' Court.
• Students visited the Exeter Corn Exchange to participate in a CityScape Competition aimed at students who have an interest in architecture, art, design and engineering.

  

• A group of year 9 students took part in a "Regeneration of Plymouth's City Centre" workshop with ECF and Council's Project Team.
• Year 7 visited Plymouth's Theatre Royal to watch a production of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"
• The choir performed at various venues, such as Chaplin's Superstore, Dunelm and St. Andrew's Church.

• Year 7 Prayer Space – Year 7 learnt about practices and beliefs in Christianity in practical and experiential ways and learnt to appreciate the beliefs and practices of others.
• The whole of year 8 had CPR training delivered by Jay's Aim.
• Gold leaderboard students were rewarded with a trip to Continue Arcade

• Year 11s took part in mock interviews with real employers

• Students took part in a Mock Trial competition at Plymouth University

• Year 7 earnt their Community Clean-up pledge badge by litter-picking in the local community as part of our ASAP Values Days
• Year 8 all visited Dartmoor Zoo 
• Students visited the Houses of Parliament and took part in an Education Roundtable 

• Year 10 Engineering students visited Princess Yachts

• Students visited Paris and Disneyland as part of our Activity Days

• Students visited London and Thorpe Park as part of our Activity Day package
• Students visited New York
