Who we are
Welcome to All Saints, Church of England, Academy, Plymouth. We are a school committed to ensuring every child flourishes, both academically, but also personally. There are approximately 700 students on roll mostly from our local communities of Honicknowle and Ham which we are proud to serve. With a dedicated and caring staff body, our students live our core values of Love, Legacy & Bravery, inspired by John 10:10 'I have come that they may have life and have it to the full'

We have excellent new purpose-built facilities here which students use. We are the only Church of England secondary academy in Plymouth and are committed to educating students of the Christian faith, those who belong to other faiths and those who subscribe to no faith.
We have the highest expectations of our students and ensure they go on to achieve their best. We do not accept excuses for not committing to the All Saints’ values and that is what helps students succeed. We believe in the transformational power of education and are committed to helping our students achieve their dreams, whether it’s to be the first in their family to go to university or the first to own their own business.
We were inspected in May 2019 by the Church inspection team and they graded us as a good school in all areas. We are part of the Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust which allows partnership working for the benefit of all of our students with other schools in Devon.

At All Saints Academy, everything we do is shaped by the words of Jesus:
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10)
This vision inspires our mission to provide transformational education and create opportunities for every member of our community to flourish. We recognise that our Christian faith may not be shared by everyone who walks through our doors, but our commitment to Love, Legacy and Bravery belongs to us all. These values guide how we learn together, support one another and seek to make a positive difference in the world around us. Through them, we strive to ensure that every person is known, valued and empowered to live life to the full.
The Christian Church has long believed that education should be available to all people, regardless of their background or circumstance. Since churches first established schools for local communities, they have sought to open doors of opportunity, challenge injustice and nurture the whole person. At All Saints, we continue this tradition by ensuring that every child receives an ambitious education while also being supported to grow spiritually, morally, socially and emotionally. We believe that every person is made in the image of God and therefore deserves dignity, compassion and hope.
Our Christian vision comes to life every day through the relationships we build and the choices we make. In collective worship, students are invited to reflect on life's big questions, explore faith and values, and consider how they can contribute to a better world. Across the academy, we champion social justice through charitable action, community partnerships, student leadership and acts of service. Whether supporting local foodbanks, standing alongside those facing disadvantage, raising awareness of global issues or caring for one another within our community, we encourage our students to become courageous advocates for change.
We are proud to be a Church school that welcomes people of all faiths and none. Our vision calls us not simply to achieve academic success, but to develop wisdom, character and hope. Inspired by Christ's example of love and service, we seek to build a community where everyone can flourish and where together we leave a positive legacy for future generations. Through Love, Legacy and Bravery, we work alongside one another to make the world a better place.
