At All Saints Academy Plymouth, personal development is central to our mission. Located in Honicknowle, one of the most deprived areas in Plymouth, we believe that education must go beyond academic achievement. Our Personal Development programme is designed to remove barriers, broaden horizons, and ensure that every student leaves with the character, confidence, and life skills needed to succeed in modern day Britain.

We take an inclusive, proactive approach to providing all students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, with the same high-quality opportunities. Our Personal Development curriculum is carefully structured and aligns with Ofsted’s criteria, ensuring that students experience a range of opportunities that build resilience, independence, leadership, and ambition. These include vital life skills such as learning to swim, riding a bike, managing personal finances, and preparing for adulthood.

Our PSHE and Relationships, Sex and Health Education curriculum promotes physical and mental well-being, healthy relationships, and online safety, while our careers' education offers high-quality guidance and employer engagement to help students make informed future choices. Beyond the classroom, our extensive extracurricular activities, ranging from sports and music to leadership roles, foster teamwork, responsibility, and a sense of belonging.
