The Prefect programme was established to create a team of student Ambassadors from across all year groups who represent the student body and the Academy with professionalism and integrity. Prefects support staff, mentor and guide fellow students, and develop their own leadership skills and confidence while upholding the school’s core values.

All Saints Academy Prefects are regarded as junior members of staff and hold positions of trust, leadership, and responsibility. They play a vital role in maintaining high standards of behaviour, discipline, and conduct in and around the Academy and are expected to model exemplary behaviour and attitude at all times.

Prefects are required to embody the school’s mission and values of love, legacy, and bravery through a strong commitment to the Academy’s ethos. This includes high effort, excellent attendance, and consistently high standards of honesty, behaviour, manners, and personal character. Prefects are expected to be fair, conscientious, kind, and positive role models for all students.

Their responsibilities include providing leadership across the Academy, supervising students during key times, representing student voice to the Senior Leadership Team, and supporting the delivery of school and community events. Prefects also represent the Academy at external events, contribute to assemblies, host visitors, and undertake additional duties as directed by senior leaders. They wear a distinctive tie to denote their role and receive appropriate training to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
